MERIT - PART 2 - THE DEDICATION OF MERIT PRAYER

The dedication of merit prayer is as follows and may be recited any time one wishes or performs a virtuous act - whether in thought or deed:

By this accumulation of merit, may I obtain all-seeing omniscience   

and may all faults be defeated.   

The whirling, turbulent waves of birth, aging, sickness and death—  

from this ocean of samsara,   

may I liberate beings.
